Get to Know Us

Dave and Sylvia are a couple of musicians who grew up on Cape Cod with a love for music. From playing in school bands growing up; to cover bands; to Karaoke nights ... they are still hitting the music scene.

Dave and Sylvia met at a local bar back in 2006. With an interest and a passion for music, it was only a matter of time before music would unite them.

Dave, a 2 time Iraq War vet, had music to fall back on when he returned home and was diagnosed with PTS. Sylvia and Dave met at a local bar and hit many Karaoke bars over the years. Dave won a Karaoke competition which prompted his position as front man for a local band called "Hollow Tree" from 2007-2013. Then he was the front man for "On the Rocks" from 2016-present (Sylvia joined On the Rocks in 2021 as vocalist). His wife Sylvia, gifted him guitar lessons back in 2016 and the artist "One More Slice" was born.

The two hit the local bar scene playing acoustic cover tunes with feel good vibes. And with all of his writings and poetry, Dave started to put together original songs on the side and slowly started sprinkling them into their performances.

And that brings us to where we are today!

Cape Life - One More Slice

Growing up on Cape Cod, MA music has been a part of my life. Through my writings and poetry I have started to put them into songs (all while learning to play the guitar). Here is my first album called "Cape Life."
